FORESTT International Conference - Metz 2027

We are delighted to announce that the FORESTT International Conference, entitled “FORESTs and global environmental changes: social-ecological systems in Transition”, will take place from October 5 to 7, 2027 in Metz, France (Robert Schuman Congress Centre).

This major international congress is organized by the FORESTT research program under the auspices of Research Groups and Task Forces of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO), with involvement of voluntary regional, national, European or international research initiatives in the field of social-ecological forest system resilience in the context of global change.

With around 1,000 participants —including established scientists, early-career researchers, and doctoral students, the congress will feature plenary sessions, thematic symposia and poster presentations, providing a unique platform to share cutting-edge insights and discuss the latest scientific advances.
